We believe that the VPS general meeting solution, or the planned new solution for handling custodian/nominee votes, will be absolutely necessary for companies with investors holding shares through custodian/nominee after SRDII comes into force on July 1, 2023.

In light of the SRDII implementation, all VPS-registered companies are encouraged to check that their articles of association are in compliance with the new directive.
Please note that, based on received information, as of July 1, 2023, it will no longer be possible for companies with investors holding shares through custodian/nominee to have articles of association that prevent advance voting.
